Laz and Sonny really honestly care about you and your car. I can’t really give higher praise than that. Fantastic honest old school customer service with a refund guarantee if you’re not happy.They went out of their way to check in and make sure I was happy with what was being done and explained it to me in words of one syllable and made sure I understood. They sent me pictures to make sure I knew they weren’t taking me for a ride.When I asked for a quote for a bigger job they were honest that it was probably not necessary at the moment but to keep an eye.They even put choccys on the dash when I went to pick it up!Will 100% be taking my Toyota hiace back to them for all repairs.

Laz and his excellent mechanic Sunny solved the performance problem which my AWD Laser TX3 turbo had, and diagnosed and fixed an issue with the brake master cylinder.They were also able to replace the alternator - a very hard to find part on a 33 year old car.All this great work was done promptly, to a very high standard, and was affordable - with an accurate quote provided beforehand.

Excellent service with minimal additional costs. I had purchased a 2011 Mercedes cheap from a neighbor last year and figured a service was warranted. Had read a Reddit post once asking about best the Mechanics in the Camberwell/Hawthorn area and The Workshop had been mentioned positively, so when my daily driver Mx-5 threw a coil pack near Camberwell junction I thought I'd give them a shot.I've owned the car long enough to have gone through a range of Mazda dealerships, local garages and specialists for servicing and repairs and over the years, I've had mechanics try to sell me gold plated wiper blades, fluids extracted from unicorns and OEM air filters that wouldn't fit in the cold air intake. The Workshop didn't pull any of these stunts, the repair bill and minor service parts and pricing came in the region of where I was expecting, so there were no surprises.From a customer service viewpoint, both Laz and Sonny are highly professional, care about their customers and have a passion for cars. They performed a quick diagnosis of the issue and kept me informed of the progress and completion.These guys are great, do as I did, and give them your business.

Laz and his team were great. Took my car to them to figure out a really loud noise my car was making. The first booking, nobody could figure out what was the problem and Laz invited me to bring the car back again to diagnose for free! Laz did not give up in finding out the issue and was very determined to find the problem in my car. Eventually, it got fixed and I was very relieved knowing that my car was fixed in good hands.
